Ad Hoc BMUN LXVII

Hi all! I'm Michael, one of the vie chairs for Ad Hoc! I'm a senior studying Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. This is my fourth year chairing for BMUN. I originate from Sunnyvale in the Bay Area (a little north of San Jose), so I'm a little less of a traveler than my fellow chairs. But honestly, once you're in the bay area why would you ever want to leave? My focus at Cal is in artificial intelligence and robotics; I spend most of my time conducting research in the Robot Learning Lab on campus. This is an exciting and fast growing area, and if you have any questions I'm happy to answer them! In my free time I watch Star Trek, hike, am an amateur writer, watch Star Trek, and watch Star Trek. I have actually never been a delegate in model UN, I only got involved when I joined BMUN and became a chair. But its shaped a large part of my college career and I love getting to run committee and make it as great an experience as possible for you, the delegate

Hi Delegates! My name is Calvin Price and I am the Head Chair for Ad Hoc. I’m really excited to be kicking off this blog. Our dais has been working hard for the past several months to put this committee together and we’re pumped to get started. We’ll post more information about the committee in the coming weeks, but for now a quick introduction: I’m a junior at Cal studying Economics and Data Science. I'm originally from Los Angeles,  but I’ve moved a lot in my life and have lived all over the US, as well as in Asia and Europe. Besides BMUN, I’m involved on campus with consulting for social impact and environmental businesses, and research/development in blockchain technology. Hi everyone, welcome to Ad Hoc! I'm Christina Haley and I'm one of your vice chairs this year! I'm a freshman at Cal intending to major in Data Science and this is my first year with BMUN. At Berkeley, I also dance and choreograph for Thrive Dance Company, the contemporary dance company on campus. I've been dancing since I was young and love having a creative outlet that pushes me physically at the same time. As a musically driven person I also listen to a lot of different music and love making Spotify playlists and going to concerts. I'm originally from Boston and enjoy Dunkin iced coffee, the word wicked, acting like I never get cold in California, and watching The Town. Most importantly though, I'm looking forward to the Pats winning another Super Bowl this year. Our city hasn't won a major league sports championship in like 3 months and I'm getting sad.
